about using this facility

to use the full facilities of this site, you must register your organization. to register, use the form on the left to record the basic information about your organization. once that is done, you will have access to the full system facilities.

as a registered user of the site you will have access to pages to maintain a variety of data. you can record details of events that you are running. these will be available to anyone visiting the site. there is a search facility for events allowing visitors to look for events at a specific venue or in a specific discipline etc.

in addition to events, your main record holds contact details so that visitors can get in touch with you.

as well as that, you can record news items and details of people who are associated with you - committee members perhaps, if you are a club, or other relevant contacts.

please note that security is taken seriously. we do not publish email addresses on the site pages - they are hidden but visitors can contact you by email from your detail page.

when you add someone as a contact, their name will appear on your detail page. visitors can click on a name and see details of that contact. (there is an option to prevent details from being displayed.)

you will appear in the list of arganizers or venues on the site. users will be able to click on your name and see details of your events, contacts and news items.

if you have your own web site, you can have your events, news and contact details displayed on it from the data held here in the Equestrian Data Bank. this means that you need only manage your data in one place. you can also have further event listings and news feeds if you wish. contact the SEA Administrator for details.
